Can I use conditioner fish tank water for my hermit crab / water spray?
I can not seem to find my conditioner water hermit crab, but I have this big bottle of fish tank air. Is it basically the same or should I wait until I can get to the store pets again? They hermit crab water conditioner but it's like 4 times the price as aquarium conditioner. Yup, I have the salt water, too. Thank you!
Yes you can. To the extent that neither stimulates the slime layer. I have yet to see a product made just for hermit crabs. But most of the products that "Only for hermit crabs "can be very bad for them. I use a product Wellfish Doc. The time it removes chlorine and heavy metals that should be fine. Making Make sure you have fresh and salt water too. Most pet stores sell aquarium salt. Edit: If it's more expensive than fish or reptiles conditioners use a cheaper one. They are all the same just make sure they did not have to fish scales, scales of reptiles or animals shedding. happy crab
