When you think of camouflage, the first thing that probably comes to mind is a common issue greens that look like someone took three or four paintbrushes with different shades of green and splashed randomly on the clothes. They probably also think very isolated and very dense material that almost feels like canvas. Thanks to modern technology, the evidence and government awareness of the changing scenes of war, this is not always the case when it comes to camouflage more. Although still in use and popular this stereotypical camouflage is largely obsolete in many instances and has been replaced in many cases with new more effective camouflage patterns. Depending on use, the soldiers may have different patterns used by various circumstances.
Woodland camouflage is probably the most popular and is the first thing that usually comes to mind when thinking in a camouflage pattern. It's the classic mix of green and brown, with no real pattern that mimics the different shades of a wooded area full of trees, leaves and shrubs, thus earning its name. The camouflage pattern most notorious and widely used, the camouflage of forests has been around for ages. However, in recent years, has determined that this is not the most appropriate model for the soldiers in camouflage reality in all circumstances.
The 6-color desert camouflage pattern came into use during Operation Desert Storm and the wars in Somalia. Camouflage of the city, also referred to as urban camouflage urban or moderate, is very different. Instead of the standard green and brown camouflage of the city is a model made of mixed forest of black and gray. These colors blend more with the urban environment and to allow police officers and SWAT teams to hide in densely populated areas, full black and gray buildings. The model can also be useful for night raids. These are sometimes used at night in Iraq and to help blend in with the extreme darkness falling on the desert night.
Obviously, the forest camouflage is no longer standard issue. While many other countries still use this design, regardless of the request, the United States does everything possible for his soldiers to safety and comfort.
